Social services for the over-65s in Norfolk – survey

Healthwatch Norfolk is the independent voice for patients and service users in the county. We gather people’s views of health and social care services in Norfolk and make sure they are heard by the people in charge.

We are working with Norfolk County Council (NCC) to understand the experiences of people over 65, and their carers, of adult social services. The survey results will be used to make recommendations to NCC on how people’s experiences can be improved.

Examples of using Adult Social Services include (but are not limited to):

  • Support to live in a residential or nursing home
  • Carers coming to your own home (domiciliary care)
  • Help to make your home safe and comfortable to return to after hospital
  • Carers helping you at home after a stay in hospital
  • Assistive technology or home adaptations to help you live independently
